The Flyers, Tim Panaccio, and the Inquirer
No one appears to have a full grasp on what happened between Tim Panaccio and the Philadelphia Inquirer management. Some feel management took offense to Panaccio posting information and articles over at Hockeybuzz.com. I know people still want to read his stuff – my blog stat tools usually spit out people who got here by searching “tim panaccio flyers” or who clicked on the Live from . . . TIm Panaccio link at the right. (Panaccio was posting Flyers blogs there for a while, but even that appears to have stopped.)
Inquirer staff writer Matt Gelb has been covering the Flyers’ prospects this summer. He’s not Panaccio, but he’s done a nice job. Check out the articles:

Playoff pressure puts Parent on Flyers’ radar

Flyers’ Downie makes fresh start
Gelb also made an appearance on the Hockey’s Future Radio Podcast to discuss the Flyers’ prospect camp and who would make the big team in September. (You can also check out other Hockey’s Future podcasts for hockey talk related to the NHL, the draft, and other prospect camps.
If you want to share any other hockey talk locations or blogs that are carrying you through the summertime hockey drought, feel free to post them in the comments section or send them to me at email@example.com. I’ll try and keep posting them throughout the next months until the season begins in October.
