Game 2: From the second intermission

Sunday, April 13, 2008

– Great work by Biron in net.  It’s hard to stay sharp when you don’t see many shots.  Hopefully we’ll see more of the same in the third.

– Danny Briere got lucky.  He bumped Huet and probably should have received an interference penalty.

– During Brooks Laich’s Sounds of the Game moment, we heard from referee Dave Jackson.  Players were scrumming along the boards after a play, and Jackson told the Caps not to take a retaliation because they had a power play coming their way.  I hope the Flyers are being given the same courtesy.

– The taste of blood is there, boys.  FInish the Caps off.
