Check it out . . .

In between diligently working at my profession and posting on the blog, I soak up a lot of hockey writing.  Thought I would share a few with the crowd.

The Philadelphia Daily News picked up a David Pollak article focused on the Spin-o-rama today.  I for one would love to see Roenick try the move – mostly because it would probably result in highlight reel material whether it succeeds or fails.  And just in case you’ve been dead for the last few weeks, the famed Brian Campbell goal.

If you like the NHL ’08 video game, here’s Bill Clement on recording the audio for the 2009 edition.

For some nice quotes out of the Flyers on last night’s game, try Inquirer beat writer Tim Panaccio’s article.  The best part – When asked about Ryan Parent’s excellent defensive play to set up the two-on-one game-winning goal, Prospal replied: “I didn’t even know that kid yet.”  Apparently they weren’t sitting next to each other in the shuffled locker room.

If you’re looking for a good hockey read, the Minnestoa Star-Tribune is usually a nice source.  Michael Russo covers the Wild, and his article today is on Jacques Lemaire’s checking line.
